On the Other Side of the Lens....

Okay blog readers it is time I share a big secret with you... I hate having my picture taken. I am not comfortable in front of the camera lens at all~ that is why when I am behind it, try to be as easy going as possible and help my clients relax.

Recently I shared with you some photos from Corey and I's trip to NYC~ I knew I'd be bringing my camera with me and I knew there would be lots of photos taken of Corey, Christie and Pat but few of me. So when Corey and I were first talking about hitting the big city I asked him if we could do a photo shoot while we were there~ and I know the photographer I wanted to do them~ Yun Gen Yang.

I first had he pleasure of becoming familiar with Yun's work when I traded in the wedding planning forums for the photography ones. His blog quickly became a favorite of mine~ I loved his work and wanted a chance to be photographed by him. So not only was the Top of the Rock, and Time Square on our must do list, but so was a photoshoot with Yun.

We joined Yun and his awesome assistant on Sunday, our last full day in the City. Of course it ended up not being the greatest of weather, but it didn't matter. We had the best time.

I will admit when I was getting ready that morning, I was so nervous~ but those fears subsided as soon as we met up with Yun and Thai. They were both so awesome and easy going and made me forget we were being photographed most of the time. They took us to Times Square, Bryant Park, the library, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central station and the Brooklyn Bridge~ as well as some other spots that just SCREAMED NYC~ Yun was kind enough to post some images on his blog, so I wanted to share some of them here with all of you. These are only a few of the many- many gorgeous images we have to remember our trip to NYC.

First up our fabulous photographer Yun~ here he is demonstrating what he wanted Corey and I to do in the photo.

I love this photo~ I call it our group shot. You can see the four of us in the image

Yun thank you sooo much for giving us lasting beautiful memories of our trip to your fair City. You are awesome and I hope we stay in touch! I encourage all my couples to do photoshoots while on vacations. If you go to NYC be sure to contact Yun and have the time of your life with him!
