Melissa & Gregory: Married

I had the best time photographing the wedding of Melissa and Gregory at the Coastal House in Wells. I started the morning at the hotel where the couple was staying to get some detail and getting ready shots.

A toast to love and friendship

Gregory was full of emotion as Melissa was walking down the aisle

They were so cute during their ceremony~ sharing laughter and tears

Becoming husband and wife

Time for the formals~ I loved Melissa's bouquet

A special photo request by the groom~ loved it!

Off to the Coastal House where the couple shared their first dance, and then invited all of their guests to the dance floor with them~

As a surprise to her husband~ Melissa arranged for his favorite drink, chocolate milk to be served for the toasts

Like the rest of the day the toasts were filled with lots more laughter and tears

Melissa and Gregory have one of the more unique " how we met" stories, that I have heard. They were actually set-up through Melissa's great-grandmother~ the couple refer to her as their matchmaker. Though she was in the wedding only in spirit, she still served as a big part of the day, Melissa had a beautiful locket that belonged to her great-grandmother tied around her bouquet, I used it as part of the ring shot because it was her (in the bottom photo) that made this day possible!

Gregory and his mom

After the formalities~ the party kicked off, the dance floor was hopping well into the night

Melissa and Gregory~ thank you so much for choosing me to document such an amazing day in your lives! I wish you all the best in your new home and in your future happiness!
