Rob & Sarah : Married

On July 19th I had enjoyed spending the day with and photographing the wedding of Sarah & Rob in Freeport.

Sarah & Rob are college sweethearts who met at the University of Maine at Farmington, where both were education majors with a speciality in math!

I started the morning at Sarah's aunt house to get the detail and final preparation shots. To accompany her dress Sarah wore this string of pearls as a bracelet~ they were given to her by her gram as you can see by the inscription she wrote on the box

The gorgeous dress~ there were so many neat places in the house to hang the gown~ I had fun playing with it while Sarah and her girls had brunch

Just a touch of make-up

All hands on deck to get Sarah dressed

Always one of my favorite images to capture

There was no hiding Rob's excitement after being pronounced husband and wife

Married!

As a nice surprise to the couple~ Rob's mom and dad arranged for a carriage ride from the church to the Hilton Garden Inn where the reception was taking place.

A local park was used as the setting for the formals

I love the following three images~ as Sarah & Rob were chatting, Rob leaned in and gave Sarah a zerbert (is that what it is called - no matter - I just love her reaction).

The frst dance

Cupcakes from European Bakery were the dessert of choice~ there were so many scrumptious flavors and the guests enjoyed sampling one, two and even three of them

A match made in baseball Heaven~ Sarah a Red Sox fan and Rob a Chicago Cubs fan~ were given these hats by their fathers~ I thought they would be the perfect setting for the ring shot

After the formalities~ the dance floor started rocking

Sarah & Rob I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon in France! Thank you both again for letting me be a part of such a memorable day~ you are both truly wonderful people and I wish you both all the best in your future happiness!

Clare, LOVED the photo of Rob tearing up as Sarah walked down the aisle. Amazingly beautiful raw emotion. You don't see that too often. As always, great job.

(And did I mention how much I look forward to all your photos? I always feel good looking at your clients because you're capturing some of the happiest moments of their lives. )
