On August 1st I travelled to Peabody, MA to photograph their wedding which was held at one of my new favorite venues, Brooksby Farms.
The morning of the wedding I joined Lisa and her ladies as they were preparing for the big day. I loved the mixture of colors that were used in her bouquet.

Lisa getting her make-up done~ Marilyn approves

Her gorgeous dress~ it hung in the formal living room at her parent's home which was adorned with a painted portrait of her parent's on their wedding day

There is something about that moment when the couple sees each other at the end of the aisle that momentarily takes my breath away

Husband and wife

After the ceremony we scooted to a local beach to do some quick photos~ it was a hot, hot day so the beach was packed, but we managed to sneak into a little alcove to get some private photos of them

Lisa & Andy are HUGE music fans~ so there were tons of details that fit into their love of music and going to concerts~ including having all of their tables named after Grateful Dead songs, (one of the bands founding members - Jerry Garcia celebrated his birthday on August 1st), two volume music CD's given as favors with favorite songs handpicked by the couple and mock concert tickets that acted as seating cards!

Bottles adorned with single flowers made up the centerpieces

The concert ticket guest book designed by an amazing graphic designer friend of Andy's

Before being intoduced into the reception we took a few minutes to stroll through the grounds of the farm to do a few more couple shots

The reception was held in the renovated barn at the farm~ loved it~ had a beautiful rustic feel! The first dance was so sweet~ they danced to a song that happened to be playing in Andy's apartment when Lisa went there for the first time

If there's music there's singing~ I love this photo!

You did good Andy-dude

It was such a gorgeous night out, so guests split themselves between dancing in the barn and mingling on the back lawn

Lisa and Andy's nieces snuck away from the festivities to color in the gazebo

The sun went down and the guests made their way back into the reception, where it was time to finish up the formalities, including the parent dances~ here's Lisa dancing to an emotional song with her dad

Andy and his mom

And then the party began~ whoo boy! The dance floor was rocking, thanks in part to the couple's wild friends and of course the fabulous band Double Down

Andy and Lisa share a love for many of the same things, but one HUGE thing that they are on different sides of the fence on are the teams they cheer for during baseball season! You see Andy is a diehard Yankees fan~ and well Lisa and her family are true Red Sox fans~ Lisa arranged for a little roast on Andy where the crowd sang Sweet Caroline and busted out their red and white gear

Groomsmen "Killah" joined the band on a tune and the crowd loved it

The final dance of the evening

Andy & Lisa~ I have said it so many times~ but thank you so much for letting me be a part of first your engagement, and now your wedding day! I look forward to sharing in the next journey you take in your new life together!
