Saying Goodbye to a Friend

It’s with great sadness that I let you all know that this morning our beloved Maxie passed away.

To us~ Maxie, Elvis and Tippy are more than just our pets~ they are our friends, and most importantly they are our family. I am sad today~ a part of our family is no longer here, but I am also grateful knowing that we were so very fortunate to have her in our lives to begin with and I can honestly say in my heart of hearts that we gave her a wonderful life.

I‘ve told Maxie all this before but I’d like to thank her for being by my side in our crazy male dominated household, for laying with me on the couch when I was sick, for keeping me company while I edited photos or watched TV, for letting me take all of those photos of her ~ crazy hats, shirts and all, for even though she had a full half of a bed to lay on - she still snuggled by my side when Corey was in Japan and for most of all I thank her for being her~ many, many quirks and all!

She will be missed as much as she was loved!

Flip Flops Season

I love this time of year~ my feet get to finally kick off the socks and put themselves in one of my many (many, many, many) pairs of flip flops!

I got this cute pair a few months ago and I have been so excited to finally get to wear them! Even Elvs loves them!

Where I Get My Good Looks From

Can we just talk for a second about how absolutely beautiful my mom is??

I've said it once~ I'll say it a thousand times~ I know how lucky I am to be able to call the woman who gave birth to me my best friend! This was the fifth year of heading to OOB and eating pizza, pier fries and playing some skee ball! As always we have a great time!
Thanks for being you mom~ you are the greatest!

Stefani & Brian : Married

Last Saturday I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Stefani & Brian in Wells. It was such a lovely day~ and I think the world of these two. They are so sweet and loving to each other.

When Stefani was getting ready she commented how many times she had seen the brides on my blog getting their make-up done and here she was finally getting hers done for the wedding~ so here you are Stefani~ your make-up shot

I loved the beading and capped sleeves on Stefani's dress

Holla~ I'm getting married

The couple are fans of all things seaside~ I loved the way they incorporated it into their ring bearer's pillow

A couple of favorites from their beautiful ceremony

A photo of the handsome groom

The reception was held at Clay Hill Farm~ the garden was in bloom and was great to be used as a backdrop for the formal photos

Brian's aunt did all the flowers and they were stunning~ I loved how she incorporated sand dollars and starfish into the bouquet as well

First dance as husband and wife

A toast by Brian's brother was both sweet and meaningful

The cake was done by Gayle Forte of Let Them Eat Cake~ as always the guests loved it!

The parent dances were both very emotional ~

Even though the guest list was small~ Dave Dionne made sure they rocked the dance floor! Everyone had a great time!

The mom's getting down

As tradition at Clay Hill the guests posed for a group formal shot at the end of the reception

After the reception, the couple and I did a few more formals at Clay Hill then headed to one of their favorite spots, Nubble Light House

Stefani and Brian~ as always it was my pleasure to be a part of your wedding day! You are both so sweet and I thank you for letting me be a part of such an amazing time!
