I need to get the old keister in gear and do some blogging, so what better way to do that, then to post a long post of Michelle & Dave wedding that I shot a couple of weeks ago at the Dockside Guest Quarters in York. It was such a lovely day, with a lovely couple and a their lovely family and friends.
Michelle is a recent graduate of Maine College of Art and this girl put all her talent to fabulous use when it came tile to planning the wedding to the man of her dreams.
With a degree in graphic design I was BLOWN away with the details that she put into their wedding~ here is their program!

Next up the bride's details~ I love this set that she found at D. Cole in the Old Port

A pretty yellow and white shawl was the perfect accent to her dress

Lovely!!!

Dave watching Michelle coming down the aisle

Wasting no time, the couple greeted each other with a kiss

This is how every groom should look at his bride on their wedding day

The wedding was small and intimate, family and best friends playing major roles in the day~ Michelle's sister Jo had the honor of marrying the couple

I love when couples can't take their eyes off each other

The vows were hand written and personal to each~ both ended theirs with something that made the other laugh

Married!

Time for the formals~ there are lots of great places around the Dockside to shoot the formals

Onto more reception details~ tables were named after places that were important in their lives. Of course Michelle designed all of the accents.

Bowls of lemons and limes were used as centerpieces

A fantastic menu was served up to their guests

The speeches were heartfelt and funny

The couple are huge animal lovers~ this book was used as their guest book! Guests left their well wishes on the page of their favorite dog photo

In lieu of favors donations were made to the Animal Refuge League

First dance as husband and wife

Dancing with their parents~

Their parents are both celebrating 30 years of marriage this year~ congratulations!

DJ Fred Pappalardo spun the music and kept the dancing floor moving

The cake cutting was fun~ with the couple and guests singing along to Sweet Caroline~ a chocolate cake with creamsicle frosting, I bet it was so good, so good!

Michelle & Dave thank you sooooo much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! You guys are wonderful! I wish you all the best in your future happiness!
