Sara & Chris: An Old Port Engagement Session

I had a great time walking around the Old Port with Sara & Chris shooting their engagement photos! The OP is always one of my favorite places to photograph because it is easy to simply walk around, chat with the couple and find neat spots to snap some photos!

The weather was a bit tricky during our shoot~ it was sunny but raining as well! No worries though~ Chris & Sara were great sports and we had lots of fun taking some photos with umbrellas and in little doorways!

I love the Lucky Catch

Life is Good

Sara & Chris~ thank you so much for braving the sprinkly weather with me! I hope you guys had as good of a time as I did!

Madeline & Gabe: Engaged

A couple of weeks ago I had the great pleasure of heading to Casco to photograph the engagement pictures for Madi & Gabe whose wedding I am shooting soon! The couple chose to have their photos taken at Madi's parents home, which is right down the road from where they are building their own home!

Something I picked up right away with these two is they love to look at each other~ I let them go with that~ thinking it made for some very sweet images!

See what I mean?

There were some great spots for us to do photos~ including the dock area that overlooked the lake~ gorgeous!

Madi's parents pup had a great time following us around on the shoot~ it was a bit warm so she took a swim! The water looked so refreshing, I wish I had joined her!

Madeline and Gabe thank you so much for letting me photograph your e-session! See you in a few weeks for the big day!

Sharon & Michael : Married

I had such a great time photographing the wedding of Sharon & Michael at the Wyndham Hotel in South Portland.

Istarted the morning with sharon and her ladies while the finishing touches were being put into place. First up~ the lovely dress! Gorgeous!

Getting some help with her make-up by one of her fabulous girls

Photos like these are why I enjoy documenting the couple as they get ready

The ceremony was held at St John's Church~ a favorite of mine that I have photographed at many times

n the weeks leading up to the wedding Sharon & I were debating on where to go for formal photos~ as there really aren't many spots between the church and reception site. We decided to do the formals right on a side yard at the Wyndham~ I am pleased to say it worked out very well

Sharon was a DIY bride!! One of my favorite touches were these paper wrapped letters on the cake table

You know how I love my first dance photos~

Doing the hokey pokey!

Sharon & Michael~ thank you again for letting me be a part of your day! So happy to hear the honeymoon was fun and congratulations on starting a new life together in your new home!
