Adventures in DC : A Clare & Corey Adventure

In May~ Corey and I took a much needed vacation to our Nation's Capitol.  I had been to DC in 8th grade, but Corey had never been and had always wanted to.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights touring the area~ I must admit I definitely had a much bigger appreciation this trip then when I was a 12 year old kid.

Some of the highlights included seeing and dining with my dear friend Amanda who works for Senator Susan Collins, she set us up with a personal tour of the Capitol and a visit and photo with the Senator herself, we explored the Smithsonian - taking in the American History, Natural History and Air & Space Museum, we visited Arlington Cemetary and watched the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and of course we walked the mall and visited the monuments.

Here are a few of the many, many, many photos from our trip!

Love the shots! My parents went last year, and well, their photos left a lot to be desired!
