Lisa & Gregory: Maine Wedding Photographer

In June I took great pleasure in photographing the wedding of college sweethearts Lisa & Gregory!  Though the couple now reside in our Nation's Capitol~ they journeyed back to the groom's hometown  for their wedding!

Lisa & Gregory could not have asked for a better day, and I could not have asked for a more fabulous group of people to work with.

I started the morning with Lisa & her ladies at a local hotel where they were getting ready!

Simple yet stunning gown with an accompanying Cathedral length veil

Make -up artist Kimberly Collins was on hand doing the make-up

Stylist Brandi Henningsen was doing the hair

One last spray of hairspray

And the veil goes in

A pretzel to keep her strength up

This wedding was so much fun they even had tailgaters

Gregory asked for this photo with his brother / best man replicating a similar photo that his father had with his best man

A beautiful ceremony

Ft Williams was the perfect spot for photos

I adore this photo

The reception was held at the Harraseeket Inn

During the cocktail hour guests enjoyed lawn games, music and mingling

A dinner jacket and a sash for the dress were added and the party kicked off

After dinner (and a downpour) I snuck the couple back outside for five minutes to take a few photos in the Inn's gorgeous gardens

Back to the reception

I love running into folks I know at weddings, like an old highschool friend and her beautiful family

Dancing with dad

Gregory taking mom for a spin around the hardwood

Guests enjoyed a late night sweet buffet

One of my favorite things I have seen at a wedding~ Gregory treated the guests to piano playing and singing of two of my favorite artists Billy Joel & Elton John ~ first up Piano Man - complete with harmonica

Then he invited his bride over to share the bench with him as he played "Your Song" by Elton John

Then it was back to the dancing

Lisa & Gregory~ thank you so much for letting me share in your wedding day with you!

To share these images with family and friends~ please make your way to my Facebook Page and tag yourself in the album!
