Amy & Jordan: Maine Wedding Photographer

My run of June weddings ended on a fabulous note with the wedding of Amy & Jordan.   College sweethearts who met at a party in Boston that Jordan was hosting, they returned to the Greater Portland area where Amy is from to have their wedding.

It was such a wonderful day, with a first look on the Eastern Prom, followed by a ceremony and reception at Portland's Eastland Park Hotel.

I started the morning with the ladies at a local salon~ where Amy & her lovely ladies were chatting and sharing photos.

Amy had LOTS of hair ~ her "updo" was stunning

Touches of make-up

A great smile (you'll see lots more of those)

The gown

No fabulous dress would be complete without a fabulous pair of heels

Off to visit Jordan and the boys for a few

Back with the ladies and mom's as they help amy in her gown

The morning of the wedding Amy told me she just couldn't wait to see Jordan, he is her best friend after all, and she wanted to be with him, so the couple chose to do a first look, which I always love

A few formal favorites

A fun tradition in Jordan's family

My favorite

2nd favorite

3rd favorite ; )

Back to the Eastland for the ceremony

I snuck the couple back out for a few minutes to do some fun photos around the hotel, before they went back in the enjoy the cocktail hour

Amy made hundreds of origami cranes for the decor at the reception

First dance

Toasts by the two best men and the Maid of Honor

The Maid of Honor toast was very emotional

The Eastland is famous for their Banana Foster's

Josh with ECF Entertainment was fabulous with keeping the party going

The DJ and Eastland provided uplighting and strobes to give the room and dance floor some neat lighting effects.  The guests a night of boogying!

Amy & Jordan~ thank you so much for letting me share in your day~ it was wonderful to be a part of such a great day!  My best to you both!
