Elizabeth & Ross: Maine Wedding Photography

In October I had the great time of photographing the wedding of Elizabeth & Ross, with a ceremony in Standish, followed by a reception in Gray.

I really enjoyed meeting with the couple in May over coffee~ and I was beyond excited when I heard they wanted to hire me for their wedding day!

I started the morning at the couples home, where the bride was getting ready.

I loved the couple's invitation, Beth's mom, who helped with many of the Do It Yourself details of the day, added this beautiful paper design, it was lovely

Oh, how I loved their pup Finnigan!

The details

The dress

Finnigan wasn't sure about his bowtie for the wedding

He grabbed it, and went for a run with it!

Beth was so fun~ all smiles all day!

All hands to help Beth get ready

Loved the Old Red Church

Ross was hanging with the boys

The ceremony began

Finningan wasn't a part of the ceremony, but the couple made sure he was a part of the formal photos

Ross,  a local firefighter, arranged for an engine to be on site for photos~ we had a lot of fun taking photos with it

An the Old Red Church was a gorgeous back drop as well

Beth and her girls did all of the flowers themselves~ they were gorgeous!

Favors of homemade jam was given to the guests

The reception took place at Spring Meadows

The couple took dance lessons, and they looked lovely as the spun around the room

The toasts were great

I loved the cake topper for Beth (a nurse) and Ross (a firefighter)

After the parent dances, all married couples took part in the married dance ~ including a couple of new families

Ross and his firefighter buddies wanted a group shot

After the formalities, the party kicked off

Oh yes that happened!

Beth grabbed the mic and entertained us all

Everyone joined in

A final dance and sing along of the night!

Beth & Ross ~ it was my pleasure in photographing your wedding day!!  You are both wonderful, caring people, and I wish you lots of love and happiness!!!
