Marie & Luke: Maine Wedding Photographer

In February I took great pleasure in photographing the wedding of Marie and Luke with their ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immacualte Conception and reception following at the Coastal House in Wells.

A big thank you to Katie from Kate Baker Photography for assisting me at this wedding!

Marie & Luke were college sweethearts who met one night over Irish Car Bombs as their priest shared during their ceremony~

I started the morning with the girls at the hotel as they were finishing getting ready

I was a bit obsessed with the beading on Marie's dress

The only time I use my fisheye during a ceremony is to get a shot like this

Couldn't resist getting a picture of this cutie~ I think she thought I was funny

Husband and wife

The speeches given by the Maid of Honor and Best Man were some of the best I have heard

Told you I was obsessed with that beading

Marie & Luke share their anniversary with Luke's grandparents

Greg of Northeast DJ's was great keeping the dance floor packed so I could get fun dancing photos

Marie's mom cutting a rug

You never know what fun pictures you are going to get during the Dollar Dance

Marie & Luke~ a huge thank you for letting me share in your wedding day!  It was absolutely my pleasure!

90 Years Young

This past weekend I had the great pleasure of photographing a special surprise birthday party for a lovely 90 year old great-grandmother!

As I waiting with the others for the special guest to arrive, I walked around and took in all of the photos on display~ there was lots of memories and stories being shared in those images!

Family & friends from all aspects of her life, took the time to write special notes wishing Barb a happy birthday

Grand-daugher Brooke not only arranged the party, but also had the big task of getting her gram to the party~ here are the two arriving.  Barb thought she was heading to an open mic concert for her grandson, so you can imagine her surprise when she saw all of the 80 plus guests that were there!

Another part of her surprise for Barb was Brooke had arranged for family to fly in from California to celebrate~ including Barb's sister

Oh it was wonderful

And they couldn't stop holding hands

After she greeted her many guests~ the party kicked off!

Grandson Justin serenaded the group with a few songs including a tune he wrote special for his gram

The best of friends

Every Sunday Barb still cooks dinner for her family...  here is what 90 years of life, 57 years of marriage gives you...  many, many blessings!!

The happiest of birthdays Barb~ you are one special lady!!
