Kate & Steve: Maine Wedding Photography

The luck of the Irish was with Kate & Steve~ whose wedding I photographed on St Patricks Day.

What a wonderful couple these two are~ both very sweet and easy going.  They surrounded themselves with their dear family and friends and totally celebrated their wedding their way.

I started the morning with Kate and her girls at a local salon where hair and make-up were getting done.

A touch of mascara for the eyes

And a final spritz of hair spray and she was ready to go
Back at the hotel, Steve had popped into the room to leave his bride to be a sweet note and lovely flowers

I love the beading detail

Steve joined us for a few getting ready photos as well

Katie got in her dress and we headed out for some pre-ceremony photos

The beach was gorgeous

And the bridal party was fantastic~ such a fun group

Kate & Steve were lucky to have such dear friends surrounding them on their wedding day

A few bride and groom favorites

Then it was back to the Landing for some detail shots

The couple was married on the balcony of the Landing

With a family friend leading the vows

First dance as husband and wife

Throwing in some smooth dance skills

Great toasts were given by their bridal party

Thanks to DJ Dave Dionne the dancing kicked off early and lasted strong till last dance

Nothing quite as fun as when a groomsmen decided to serenade the new husband and wife

But of course what makes it better is when lyrics are forgotten~ so another guest takes over

Everybody had a great time

The night came to an end with the couple enjoying a final dance of the evening on the stage

And then this happened!!

Kate & Steve~ thank you so very much for letting me photograph your wedding for you.  It was so great to be back on touch and to you Kate~ to see how happy Steve makes you!!!  Congratulations!!

These are incredible Clare! The black and white shot during their first dance is stunning - awesome job!
