Marisol & Willis: Maine Wedding Photographer

In August I photographed the wedding of Marisol & Willis.  The couple were friends in highschool but didn't start dating till years later when Willis was moving to New York and looked his old friend Marisol up and the rest is as they say history.  Currently living in DC, the couple returned to the area where they grew up to get married surrounded by family and friends.

A local summer camp was the backdrop for their day

Lots of activities were planned

A few of Marsiol's details

Marisol purchased the material for her hand designed dress on a trip to India~

Marisol and her ladies got ready in one of the summer cabins

The couple joined me for pre-ceremony photos

Despite the damp conditions we had a great time

Their bridal party were lots of fun

After the formals it was time for the ceremony

The band lead the couple to the reception hall where they would greet their guests

The couple were very hands on with the details of the day ~ flowers grown by Will's mom or gathered wildly from Marisol's bridesmaids accompanied ocean treasures gathered from Marisol's cousins as the centerpieces

Marisol's dad painted these seagull paintings that were used as placecards

I normally don't take photos of people eating at weddings, but this little guy was so into his corn I couldn't help it

After dinner it was time for toasts, shortcake, square dancing and games

Everyone was having a great time

After working up a sweat quare dancing~ it was time to change into their swimsuits and go down the homemade waterslide

Seriously so much fun

Marisol & Willis thank you so much for letting me share in such a wonderfully fun day with you~ I wish you both all the best in your future happiness!!
