I really enjoyed getting to know these two during their planning and I was thrilled to be a part of their day. Below are a few of my favorite images!
Cow Island is maintained by Rippleffect who operate a sea kayak and leadership schools from the island~ the bride and her sisters got ready in one of the island's yurts.
Knowing there would be plenty of walking on her wedding day, Sadie chose a comfy, yet stylish pair of Converse sneakers
Sadie shares a toast with her sisters and then they helped her get in her dress
And Zach got some help with his hair from his future brother in law
The couple actually had three wedding ceremony's~ Sadie and her sister head out for the first meeting with Zach and their first ceremony
The first ceremony was a private moment where the couple exchanged heart felt handwritten vows that they exchanged in front of two of their good friends
After the ceremony the couple took a few moments to share a pray and spend time together
Soon it was time for the 2nd ceremony of the day, where they exchanged rings and more vows in front of their guests
After portraits the couple joined their guests for cocktails and ziplining!!
We walked to the reception side of the island for more photos
After a delicous meal prepared and served by the Rippleffect chefs, many guests including the bride took time to offer toasts and stories to the couple
Her dad even wrote an awesome poem!
The whole wedding day was a very much hands on family affair, her mom made their lovely cake
After cake the couple danced their first dance as husband and wife, and were soon joined by their family and friends
I don't think he actually had a name~ so I shall call him the Reverend Dr Love, appeared to lead the couple in a surprise (to them) 3rd wedding ceremony~ where the love - mothership offered them gifts and blessings on a funky love union!
Sadie & Zach~ thank you for allowing me to share in such an amazing day with the both of you! You are both such lovely people, and I wish you the best in all your love!!
