I first met couple back when I had photographed Kim's sister wedding, I was beyond thrilled when she contacted me within days of JP proposing.
Immediately after the proposal JP was sent to Qatar for 7 months~ luckily Kim an accomplished nurse and an officer in the Air Force herself had her family, a new home, pups and wedding planning to make those months go by a little bit faster.
I was so happy when their wedding day arrived~ I met the ladies at the hotel where the final details of getting ready were being put into place
From there it was off to Moody Chapel for the ceremony
JP took his place at the front of the church and waited for his bride to make her way to him
After the ceremony the couple and their bridal party joined me for photos
Kim was the absolute definition of perfection
And JP was smitten
Some of my favorite reception details
How absolutely awesome is this cake topper Kim had made up as a nod to their service (THANK YOU!!)
After intros it was time for them to dance to their first dance and hear toasts
Kim danced with her dad
Then JP danced with his mom
After cake~ guests young and old took to the dance floor
I always love seeing familiar faces at weddings (Hi Lindsey!)
A final dance of the night and it was time for me to head home!!
Thank you for letting me share in your day Kim & JP~ it was absolutely my pleasure!! I wish you both love and happiness!!
