Kim & Jon: Maine Wedding Photographer

Continuing with June, I took great pleasure of photographing the wedding on Kim & Jon.  I know you may read it all the time, but I really have the best couples (and they have the best guests)!  It makes my job so easy when couples just have fun and celebrate their day like it should!

Kim & Jon were married near the same beach that they had met on one summer afternoon a few years earlier.  Jon returned to that beach with Kim on their anniversary and asked her to be his wife, now they were returning once again to start a new life together.

I started the morning with the ladies at a friends house where they were getting ready~  I went upstairs and fell in love with this area that held all of Kim's accessories

Giving a helping hand to the Junior Bridesmaid

Putting the veil in place

Off to get married

The original plan was to get married on the front lawn of Joseph's By the Sea~ but unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans~ no worries a new plan and some fast thinking groomsmen ( and super helpful guests), the ceremony was moved inside

The Groom's father giving the couple a blessing

Loved, loved, loved the colors for the bridal party

The toasts were incredible~ Kim & Jon are very fortunate to have so many folks that care about them

European Bakery provided this gorgeous cake

And then they danced... the first dance was beautiful

A proud mom

And an even prouder dad

Kim and her girls~ treated us to a little Zumba

And then everyone else joined in the party

The reception was done at 4:30, so the bridal party and I scooted to The Pier to grab some fun photos

Then it was down to the water for some more photos

At last a swim in the ocean to end their incredible day

Kim and Jon, thank you so much for being you and being so incredible!!  My best to you in your future and happiness always!!
