Kristina & Molly ~ Maine Family Photographer

I had a wonderful time photographing friend and fellow photographer Kristina O'Brien  and her daughter Molly.

As a photographer Kristina is always the one taking the photos~ even when it comes time to personal photos with Molly and her husband Jim~ so I loved the idea of wanting to do a shoot with just her and Molly.  The photos were going to be a surprise for Jim for Father's Day~ but Kristina shared them with Jim early~ so I get to as well!

I will admit, I was a bit nervous leading up to this shoot~ photographing another photographer~ but I relaxed pretty quickly, and I am happy to say I had a great time.  I absolutely adored meeting Molly and watching Kristina with her.  Kristina is a wonderful mom~ and Molly is a lucky little lady!

Here are a few of my favorites from the session below~  you will notice lots of laughter and smiles in this session, just what I was hoping to capture!

Kisses from mom!

Come on Clare~ let's go for a walk

After a fun shoot, it was time to hit the swings

And sliding

Sorry Kristina~ this outtake made me giggle

Thanks for the fun time Molly!!

Kristina~ thank you so much for letting me photographing you and Molly!  I had a great time, I hope you did as well!

Laura & Josh ~ Maine Wedding Photographer

Last weekend I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Laura & Josh in Winthrop Maine~ we were lucky that the predicted rains held off until the reception started so that we could do formal photos outside!

I loved the wooded ~ lakeside location and I could not have asked for a greater couple to work with.

Lots more photos will be posted soon!

Madeleine & Nick : New Hampshire Wedding Photography

In April I had a wonderful time photographing the wedding of Madeleine & Nick in New Hampshire.

Maddie & Nick actually both went to college together~ with Nick just being a year ahead of Maddie, but they didn't start dating until they went out one evening with mutual friends and enjoyed getting to know each other better.

I started the morning at the couple's apartment where Maddie & her girls were getting ready.  When I arrived Maddie was putting the finishing touches on their wedding cake~ she did a great job!

Best part of making your own wedding cake~ enjoying left over frosting of course!

A spray of perfume

And a touch of mascara

Then it was time to get in the dress

I took a few minutes to take some photos of Maddie before I headed to the ceremony site

At the church I met up with Nick

The mom's lighting the unity candles at the beginning of the ceremony

Seriously~ I always love little kids when the talk to the bride ~ a real life princess

After the ceremony we headed to the reception site~ Candia Woods Golf Course to take some formal photos

Reception details

I am loving all of the neat guest book ideas that are out there now~ this was a favorite

First dance as husband and wife ~ to Louis Armstrong's "A Kiss to Build a  Dream On"

Both Best Man & Maid of Honor gave sweet toasts

A little fun game of how well the couple knows each other was played as guests were finishing dinner

After cutting the delicous looking cake it was on to parent dances and then a rocking reception

A great group of St A's Alum

Always fun to see my past couple's spiining around the dance floor ~ here is Mo & Matt

A final slow song to end out the evening

Oh Madeleine & Nick~ I truly adore the both of you and I adore the love you have for each other!  All my best in your future happiness!!  Thanks you for letting me share the day with such an amazing group of people!
