Erin & John: Maine Wedding Photographer

On Sunday July 14th I traveled to Sebasco Harbor Resorts to photograph the wedding of Erin & John.. the couple actually reside in CA but made their way back to Maine, John's home state to tie the knot.  I had a wonderful day with these two and their guests.. here are a few of my favorites...

I started the morning with Erin and her dear friend who was serving as Matron of Honor..

John sent a letter to his soon to be bride that brought her to tears

Soon it was time to slip in the dress and me to make my way over to see John

John was all smiles~ he was excited the day had come when Erin would be his wife

John's nephew served as Best Buddy for the wedding... he had a big job but he was great and stepped right in when needed

I checked back in with Erin to grab some portraits and then we headed to John to do some pre wedding portraits..

Erin & John are HUGE golfers.. John actually proposed on one of their favorite courses, so of course we had to grab a few shots on the course at the resort

Soon it was time for the ceremony~ Best Buddy was all set to go with the rings and John was ready and waiting for Erin at the altar

The couple joined me for a few post ceremony portraits and then went off to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests~ many who traveled a great distance to share in the day with the couple

A big thank you to my second shooter for the day Chris Silva, who covered the guests having fun at the cocktail hour while I was able to grab the details at the reception site

I loved the decor and details

After the first dance, it was time for toasts

Guests wrote well wishes to the couple on Maine Postcards

The big kids hit the dance floor

While the little kids hit the smores

Erin & John it was my absolute pleasure to share in your wedding day~ I wish you all the best in your future happiness.  And John... G F Y :)
